To all well-wishers of Pratham Chandramukhi
Our greetings to you after one more year.
When we started Pratham Chandramukhi in 2018, we planned to have an annual meeting with
the girls and you, the patrons. Unfortunately there was no meeting this year mainly due to a suitable time not being found. We sincerely hope that we all can meet this year.
A WhatsApp Group was formed in 2022 with the girls. We used that to monitor their academic progress.
We are happy to report that most of the girls are progressing steadily in their chosen career.
The year started with seven Chandramukhi stipend recipients.

Swati De |
After completion of her Diploma in Architecture she has now been appointed as Junior Assistant Architect in ArcOn Design Pvt Ltd. She is the first Chandramukhi girl to have secured a job. We congratulate her wholeheartedly. |

Sohini Bar |
She has completed her graduation with History (H) from Narasimha Dutta College with CGPA 7.4. She has taken admission in MA. Since we provide no stipend for PG studies, she has moved out of our system. However, in case she requires any one time support, we will try to help her. |

Dipta Das |
She has passed Madhyamik with 65% (A) and has been awarded Govt Merit Scholarship. She is continuing her studies in Class XI. Dipta has received the Govt scholarship of amount Rs 12000/- for the whole year. She will also receive the same for another year. For now Chandramukhi stipend has stopped for her |

Payel De |
She has passed Higher Secondary in 2023 with 80.6%. After clearing Joint Entrance Exam, she has been admitted to North Calcutta Polytechnic to pursue Diploma in Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering. |

Priya Debnath |
She is continuing her UG studies with Philosophy (H) in Howrah Bijoykrishna Girl’s College. Her Sem V exam is expected to start in Jan and she is expected to complete UG in Aug 2024. She is continuously keeping 7.8 as he SGPA |

Swikriti Khan |
She is continuing her UG studies in BCom in Narasimha Dutta College. She is also expected to complete UG in Aug 2024. |

Hritwisa Chongder |
She is appearing for Madhyamik 2024. Her school results are consistently good. We expect her to do well in HS. |
Saberi Sharma’s stipend has started after a gap of one year. Her Madhyamik result fell short of our cut-off. She is appearing for HS in 2024.
Mou Panja joined Chandramukhi Girls in 2023. She is appearing for Madhyamik 2023.
Ipsita Biswas has joined Chandramukhi Girls in January 2024. She is studying for Diploma in Education in Saroj Nalini Primary Teachers’ Training Institute.
